At Houston Methodist, the Patient Engagement Research Laboratory conducts clinical research focusing on improving patient engagement and education, tailoring health messages to reduce racial/ethnic disparities to access to care, activating patient communities through digital storytelling, and assessing the efficacy of multilevel health interventions in the healthcare system, including those utilizing m-Health technologies.
